Hear from our students

I am passionate about innovation, design and science, which is why I love engineering. It is part of everything. Engineering is a career that improves civilization, while enabling new opportunities. I am looking forward to graduating and pursuing a career in this field.

Through being part of the monumental Metro Tunnel project, I’ve applied what I’ve learnt in the classroom directly in real-world settings. One of my placement’s highlights was working on the future Anzac Station site and seeing a tunnel boring machine in action. These experiences have empowered me to undertake any challenge I face in the future.
