La Trobe University respects the privacy of your personal information.  Personal information is collected for the primary purpose of investigation.  If you choose not to provide all information requested it may not be possible for the University to investigate the incident which you bring to our attention.  If the University believes that a breach of law or criminal offence has occurred the information collected may be disclosed to the relevant state or commonwealth department, law enforcement agency, or other government agency such as the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission, the Victorian Ombudsman and the Victorian Auditor-General.
