Our mission and vision

Our mission

To provide exemplary care and learning in an inclusive early childhood service that nurtures each child’s potential, values the diversity of the families they belong to and the staff who work with them, and promotes learning within our community.

Our vision

To inspire children and families to become lifelong passionate learners.

Our educational philosophy

We view children as active participants in their own learning, celebrating their unique capabilities and contexts. Our approach to education prioritises well-being, intentionality, and independence, demonstrating sensitivity and responsiveness in our interactions.

Our initiatives

We organise excursions and wellness activities

Our organisation is deeply committed to child safety and wellbeing, integrating these principles into everything we do.

Our centre organises regular excursions to local sites, including La Trobe University’s Wildlife Sanctuary and nearby bushlands. Additionally, children and staff participate in weekly yoga sessions to promote physical and mental wellbeing.

We provide nutritious meals every day and promote healthy eating

Our Centre provides all meals, freshly cooked every day. We encourage children to explore a range of food and support them to engage in self-care skills in mealtimes.

We understand that some children require adjustments for allergies/intolerances, and will coordinate with the family, education team, kitchen team and management.

Having quality childcare on campus was a huge factor in enabling my return to work! Being able to drop in at lunch time for a cuddle and knowing that I could be there in 5 mins if needed was assuring. I cannot praise the staff enough! They took great care of my two girls, but they took time to ensure I was comfortable and confident in the transition too which was probably the more challenging task.

The staff, the reception, the management, and their allied health team, that work on-site, helped and nurtured my daughters wants and needs, not trying to change her or labelling her in the "hard basket". It was a breath of fresh air, an absolute delight and with the support of those around her, the behaviours slowly diminished/are minimal and we later found out she was a super neurodiverse Audhd child.
