Dentistry

Why study dentistry?

Dentists practice prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries and malformations of the teeth, jaws and associated structures. Our course focuses on the delivery of oral health care services in rural and regional areas and you will take part in a placement program in rural Victoria. The program is based at the Bendigo campus with major teaching clinics in Bendigo, Mildura, Melton and Wodonga. You will study basic sciences and public health and start pre-clinical dentistry in your first semester in our state-of-the-art clinical simulation laboratory.
