La Trobe Law School is pleased to welcome Dr Marika Sosnowski as Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Research).
Based at La Trobe's Bendigo campus, Dr Sosnowski will teach across both Law and Criminology, bringing internationally recognised expertise in legal anthropology and conflict studies.
Professor Lorne Neudorf, Dean of La Trobe Law School, said: “We are delighted to welcome Marika to La Trobe Law School. Her work has been influential both in Australia and internationally, and we are pleased to have her based at our Bendigo campus, where she will teach both Law and Criminology students.”
A highly respected legal anthropologist, Dr Sosnowski's research focuses on ceasefires, armed conflict, citizenship and revolution. Her work also explores interdisciplinary approaches to knowledge production and collaboration, including through a slow scholarship project examining the legal afterlife of war and revolution.
