This two-part workshop begins with report writing and includes tips on structure, style, common errors and where to find resources. Then, learn some FUNdamental referencing hacks with an experienced Librarian.
11.30 am – 1.30 pm
Essays and referencing hacks
This two-part workshop begins with essays and takes you through each step of the process from planning and structuring, to writing and editing. Then, learn some FUNdamental referencing hacks with an experienced Librarian.
2 pm – 3 pm
Using references in your writing
Not sure how to use references in your writing? In this workshop you will learn methods for incorporating sources into your writing – to support your academic arguments and avoid plagiarism.
3 pm – 4 pm
Getting back on track with your assessments
This workshop will look at strategies to help you get back on track. We'll talk about prioritising tasks, time management, and where to go for more support.
This workshop introduces databases and provides tips and tricks for using Google Scholar in your research.
