La Trobe's institutional repository is undergoing a transformation and will soon be launched as OPAL (Open @ La Trobe). Powered by Figshare it is part of La Trobe's broader commitment to Open Access, and with the improved usability we will be well placed to meet the growing demand that researchers have for sharing their work and increasing their profile. It will be officially launched on 22 October as part of Open Access week with more details to come.
