La Trobe Sport releases Return to Sport and Recreation Guidelines

La Trobe Sport is pleased to announce its Return to Sport and Recreation Guidelines.

Update - Friday 20 November

From Monday 23 November, the La Trobe Sports Stadium will make its long-awaited reopening. Opening hours for the La Trobe Sports Stadium can be found here.

Courts will be available up to 20 people per court, with a 100 person facility cap. All casual visitors must register their attendance at the front desk, as well as register through a QR code at reception.

Group bookings for La Trobe Sports Stadium facilities can be made here. To assist with contact tracing and minimise any queuing, team sheets can be made available and emailed via sport@latrobe.edu.au.

La Trobe Sport is also excited to announce further reopening of facilities and programs at the Indoor Sports Centre.

From Monday 23 November, a variety of health and fitness group classes and Learn to Swim programs will return, and there will be an increase in users in the pool and gym spaces. Bookings are still available through our online booking portal, but not essential. We do recommend booking in to secure your spot in our busier times when we may have classes on, or pool bookings. For lap lane availability at the Indoor Sports Centre Pool, click here.

Indoor courts at the Indoor Sports Centre will be available for casual shooting or private bookings (subject to density quotients), while our Squash Courts and Table Tennis facilities will also return.

From Wednesday 11 November the gym and pool will reopen at the Indoor Sports Centre with reduced opening hours.

To book in for the gym or the pool from next Wednesday, please click here.

We will provide another update as soon as the total number of patrons in a recreation facility is increased, which will immediately trigger our ability to facilitate indoor court bookings and reopen the La Trobe Sports Stadium.

La Trobe Sport staff have worked extremely hard to ensure that we will be providing the safest environment possible for our community upon the reopening of our facilities. We are asking all of our members and customers to consult our Return to Sport and Recreation Guidelines to ensure they are aware of the temporary new processes we have put in place before attending our facilities.

All outdoor sport and recreational facilities are open as of today (click here to book a La Trobe Sport Park facility) and outdoor personal training sessions have now been extended to a group of up to 10 people (plus a trainer).
