We pair your organisation with multi-disciplinary student teams. Students will investigate authentic industry challenges and develop innovative, evidence-informed ideas, insights, and findings as part of their learning experience.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This 10-week initiative connects La Trobe student teams with organisations seeking fresh perspectives.
Our student teams apply their knowledge to research, analyse and explore approaches to industry challenges while developing valuable workplace skills and experience.
Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, all projects contribute to positive environmental, social, and economic change.
Each project is supported by a dedicated La Trobe University Academic Supervisor/Coordinator and a Project Manager, ensuring progress and consistency.

No monetary cost for participating organisations.
Ownership of all IP is assigned to your organisation.
Receive a detailed 5,000-word project completion report outlining research findings, observations, and approaches explored by the student team as part of their academic project.
Connect with talented students and build awareness of employment opportunities within your organisation.
Gain fresh perspectives from multi-disciplinary student teams exploring challenges relevant to your organisation. Teams combine diverse skills, such as IT and marketing strategy.
YOUR COMMITMENT
- Project Brief: Provide an industry challenge, refined into a detailed project scope with our academic team for student investigation and learning
- Induction Day: Attend a half-day workshop to meet your student team(s) and discuss the project brief
- Pitch Day: Attend a half-day workshop to hear student teams present their findings and project outcomes
- Regular Meetings: Participate in four 1-hour online meetings (every 3 weeks) with students and the academic supervisor to discuss progress and milestones.
