Disability

Why study disability practice?

Whether you’re looking to start or advance your career, our postgraduate courses in disability practice are your pathway into the expanding disability sector. Our flexible, online degrees can be completed whether you’re entering the sector, or a professional already in the field.

Our courses have been developed by a team of internationally-recognised researchers from La Trobe’s Living with Disability Research Centre in collaboration with leading industry practitioners. Graduates will be well equipped to deal with the challenges facing the contemporary disability sector.

Practitioners for the 21st Century in Australia need different approaches to practice. This is especially so in the disability field with the introduction of the NDIS. These courses will equip professionals to undertake a range of roles in this field, some of them fairly new to the profession.
