ASK La Trobe is where your La Trobe questions are answered in one place. Our friendly staff are ready to help you with anything related to university life, courses, enrolment and more.

3. International Student Transition Facebook

If you’re a new international student join the International Student Transition Facebook page. This group is for commencing international students and you can chat with current international students online.

4. Library Learning Services

The Library Learning Services team can help with your assignments and study habits. You can practice your English and attend workshops on writing assignments, referencing, and library research and receive free 24/7 assignment help at Studiosity through the Library.

5. The La Trobe Leaders Program

The La Trobe Leaders Program is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your leadership skills by welcoming incoming students, mentoring your peers and participating in a range of engagement activities held on campus throughout the semester.

6. Conversation Club

Conversation Club runs twice a week via Zoom. During Conversation Club sessions, La Trobe International Students come together and exchange information on a range of topics including life in Australia, university support services and mental health and wellbeing. Conversation Club regularly hosts guest speakers, games, quizzes and activities and more.

7. Employability

La Trobe we offer a range of support to help you get Career Ready. With a strong focus on employability skills, a range of programs are available for students including Career Ready Industry Experiences, Industry Mentoring and Networking, and Career Ready Masterclass.

10. CANDID 

CANDID is a La Trobe Peer Support group for students who have a chronic illness or disability, are neurodiverse or are in a caring role. Fortnightly Zoom catchups are facilitated by La Trobe University’s Accessibility Hub and students from all campuses can attend.

Study Melbourne run virtual events and workshops for the Victorian International Student community, including storytelling, practical workshops, virtual sporting events, welcome dinners and more.
