About this event

This workshop will consider the slippery issue of voice in academic writing. It will focus on the question of what voice is, look at rhetorical and linguistic strategies for foregrounding your voice, and provide an opportunity for you to consider the effectiveness of your voice in your own writing. Participants are encouraged to bring along a sample of their writing for analysis.

Understand what is meant by ‘voice’ in academic writing and learn how to develop it.
