About us

La Trobe University Library is a leading academic library operating as one library service across all campuses.

A large and growing proportion of the Library's scholarly information resources are available in digital form and can be accessed by all students and staff, regardless of location.

The Borchardt Library at the Melbourne (Bundoora) campus holds the largest proportion of the total physical collection, delivers centralised services for all campus libraries, and provides a library service to the CBD campuses.

The Heyward Library at the Bendigo campus provides substantial collections, facilities and services to support courses and research at this campus.

The David Mann Library at the Albury-Wodonga campus is a shared facility of La Trobe University (Albury-Wodonga) and the Wodonga Institute of TAFE.

The library service at the Shepparton campus is integrated with the campus learning and teaching spaces, offering easy and seamless access from class to library services in a central location.

Our Mildura campus is a shared facility with Sunraysia Institute of TAFE.

A virtual library service is available at the City campus.
