Accept your offer and enrol in subjects

Follow the steps below to accept your offer and secure your place in Achieve Plus.

Confirm who you are by activating your account.

You’ll be asked to select if you are a registered user on the first screen. You are a registered user if you have activated your account within the last 24 hours but haven’t yet accepted your offer.

Your details need to match your offer exactly for the system to recognise you.

Please note: if your application details don’t match your full legal name as they are registered with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), you will need to update your personal details after you have accepted your offer.

Activate your account Account activation: video guide

  • Click your course name under My Applications.
  • Review your offer.
  • Click Accept in the top left corner to accept your offer.

Your official La Trobe student account will be set up within 24 hours, and we’ll email you when it’s ready.

You need to complete all tasks listed as mandatory in the My Tasks tile so you can enrol into subjects. By completing these tasks, you’ll accept all terms and conditions of your study and confirm your details as required by La Trobe and the Australian Government.

If there are any incomplete tasks, you won't be able to enrol and secure your place.

Note that there are no fees for Achieve Plus subjects and you are not required to submit a Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF).

Complete pre-enrolment steps

We’ll send an email to your personal email address when your La Trobe student account has been activated. You’ll then need to set up MFA to access your student email and other systems.

Set up your MFA

Follow the Achieve Plus study plan guide for your stream to enrol in your required subjects. You can also find more details on the Achieve Plus website.

Law stream students: we’ll enrol you in your subjects. You don’t need to enrol yourself.

It’s required by VCAA for you to enrol in the correct subjects for your stream, including the Semester order shown in the study plan guide. Enrolling into the wrong subjects or order means your studies won’t count towards your VCE or ATAR.

  • Go to the My Study tile and select Manage My Course.
  • Click Plan and Enrol (located top left on Manage my Course page).

  • View your subjects in the Unscheduled column. Note: Unscheduled refers to subjects that need to be assigned to a study period, this is different to timetabling.

  • Choose Plan a Study Period (or use the Schedule button on a subject).
  • Select the Year and Study Period (Semester).
