Learning to write with the styles and preferences of your discipline is an important part of becoming a confident academic writer. This workshop will look at how to use the journal articles you are already reading to inform the practice of your own writing. Participants should bring along an exemplary journal article from their own discipline.

Who should attend: La Trobe University graduate researcher students in the early stages of candidacy.
About the Presenter: Dr Lynda Chapple is part of the Library Researcher Liaison team. She specialises in teaching research writing skills to graduate researchers.
