What is voice in research writing, and how do I find my own?

This workshop will consider the slippery issue of voice in research writing. It will focus on the question of what voice is, look at rhetorical and linguistic strategies for foregrounding your voice, and provide an opportunity for you to consider the effectiveness of your voice in your own writing.

Participants are encouraged to bring along a sample of their writing for analysis.
