Can I borrow from other libraries using my LTU Library membership?
Borrow through LTU Library
If you can't find what you need in our collections, you may be able to request an item from an external (non-LTU) library and have it delivered to your nearest LTU campus library (or even posted to you, if you're eligible for Remote delivery ).
For more information on requesting items from external libraries, see Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Service.
Borrow directly from an external library
LTU students/staff that are visiting another academic library may be able to borrow directly from that library through the CAVAL or ULANZ borrowing programs. You will need to register as a CAVAL or ULANZ borrower from the service desk of that library in order to borrow (they may charge a fee for registration).
For more information, such as which academic libraries participate in the borrowing programs, see Borrow at other academic libraries.
