Work placements

We recognise and understand the importance of work placements and the benefits they provide to students, host institutions and the library sector.

La Trobe University (LTU) Library offers ten-day work placements to tertiary students who require a student placement as part of their course. A limited number of opportunities are available from February through to November. Applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Placements for students enrolled in ALIA-recognised library and information management courses are coordinated by the Library Executive team, liaising with student placement coordinators at universities.
