The 2027 Student Services and Amenities fees (SSAF) are now available to view on our website. We encourage you to take a moment to review the 2027 fees so you understand what you will be charged for SSAF next year.
SSAF is charged twice per year. The amount you pay will depend on your study load and whether you study primarily on campus or online.
Most domestic students are required to pay this fee, as mandated by Australian Government legislation. Eligible domestic students may be able to defer this fee by submitting a SA-HELP form in StudentOnLine.
International students pay SSAF too, but it is included in your tuition fee, not as a separate fee.
SSAF is reviewed annually and the Australian Government sets the maximum amount that can be charged for SSAF each year.

What is SSAF?
The Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) is a contribution that helps fund services, programs and activities that support your success and wellbeing at university. SSAF supports a wide range of student services, including study support, careers and employability, health and wellbeing programs, clubs and societies, sport and recreation, and student advocacy. It helps ensure students have access to the support, resources and opportunities they need throughout their time at La Trobe.
