Important exam update – Photo ID required for all face-to-face exams

As you head into the exam period, please review the following requirements to help ensure a smooth examination experience.

All students attending a face-to-face exam must verify their identity with photo ID before their exam commences. If you are unable to provide photo ID proving your identity, you will not be permitted to sit the exam.

What to bring as identification

On the day of your exam, please bring and present one of the following:  

  • your student ID card 
  • your drivers’ licence or other Australian Government issued photo ID 
  • your passport 
  • a Working With Children Check card 

What if you don’t have any photo ID

If you do not have any ID please contact ASK La Trobe as soon as possible.  

What you can’t bring to the exams

Devices with AI, Wi‑Fi or Bluetooth capabilities, including mobile phones, smartwatches and wearable technology, are not permitted in the exam venue. All such prohibited devices must be switched off before entering the exam venue.
