We know that many postgraduate students rely on public transport for classes, placements and research activities, however Victoria remains the only state in Australia that doesn’t provide some form of public transport concession for postgraduate students.
The University of Melbourne’s Fares Fair campaign is a student led campaign working to secure public transport concessions for postgraduate students in Victoria.
If you’re a postgraduate student and live in Victoria, we encourage you to complete the Fares Fare PTV survey.
This survey will help inform the campaign, with the goal to achieve long-term, sustainable change for postgraduate students in Victoria.
