Casual Pay Review
La Trobe University is committed to ensuring that our staff are paid fairly for their work at the University.
The University initiated an independent review of casual staff payments, which identified some issues related to payment of some of our casual staff. These findings resulted in a comprehensive program of work to remediate any casual staff underpayment.
The University sincerely apologises to any former or current casual staff who are owed payment for work they have performed.
Outstanding payments to current casual staff have now been processed.
The University has contacted former casual staff eligible for an outstanding payment with information on how to provide their details so this payment can be processed. As part of the University’s Enforceable Undertakings, we have now reliquinshed unclaimed monies to FairWork Ombudsman.
