2025 Semester 2 Preference Entry mode in Allocate+ opening dates

Preference Entry Mode opens on 10.30 am Tuesday 13 May 2025 for the Semester 2, 2025 timetable in Allocate+ and  closes on 9.00 am Tuesday 20 May 2025

Preference Entry Mode lets you nominate your preferred class times for your enrolled Semester 2 subjects.

Everyone who enters their preferences before 20 May will have the same chance to get their desired class times. It’s not ‘first-come, first-served’.

If you haven’t submitted your preferences by Tuesday 20 May, when Preference Entry Mode closes, you’ll be automatically allocated to class times.

You will then need to change to preferred class times manually, if available, when the timetable reopens in Allocation Adjustment mode from Wednesday 21 May at 10.30 am.

Choosing your preferences in Allocate+

Before you can choose your preferences, make sure you’re enrolled in your 2025 Semester 2 subjects.

Need help enrolling? See our step-by-step guide for detailed instructions on how to enrol via StudentOnLine. You can also see the steps for enrolling in electives and troubleshoot any enrolment issues using the Can’t enrol in StudentOnLine guided assist.

After you’ve enrolled, you may need to wait 24 hours for your newly enrolled subjects to show up in Allocate+, so try again later if you can’t see them straight away.

You can log into Allocate+ any time between 10.30 am 13 May and 9.00 am 20 May and nominate your class time preferences.

If you miss entering your preferences during Preference Entry mode, you may be able to make adjustments to your class allocations (where possible) during Allocation Adjustment mode between 10.30 am 21 May and 9.00 am 31 August.
