La Trobe offers support to students who are experiencing hardship and may require food aid.

Our Financial Counsellors can provide virtual, telephone or face to face appointments providing specific information for your needs in relation to food relief.

LTSA Student Pantry

A Student Pantry is available to Albury-Wodonga students. A range of food and household items are available. The Pantry is operated by the La Trobe Student Association (LTSA)

LTSA partners with a range of Food Relief providers across the state to stock each Pantry location. Through a valuable partnership with Share the Dignity, free period products are also provided at each campus.

Material Aid (non-food items)

Big Group Hug: Provides essential material needs for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families (baby and children’s furniture, clothing, toys, nappies, formula). Contact them directly for assistance.

3081 Angels (Banyule Community Health): Donates pre-loved goods for children and families (clothing, toys, furniture). Contact BCHS on 03 9540 2000.

St Vincent de Paul (Vinnies) West Heidelberg: Offers clothing (appointments required, call 1300 305 330).
