Wellbeing Services – We’re here for you over summer!

With exams behind us and the semester wrapped up, many students are looking forward to catching up on sleep, reconnecting with friends and family or simply taking a well-earned breather. The break can also be a great opportunity to pause, reflect and prioritise your mental health – especially if the busy semester left little time for self-care.

Whether you’d like someone to talk to, need guidance on practical issues, help managing money or have legal matters you’re seeking advice on, support is just an appointment away. Reaching out during this quieter period can make a meaningful difference. Many students find they have more space to focus on wellbeing, set goals and develop coping strategies that support a smoother transition into the next semester.

Our operating hours:

Our Student Wellbeing Services remain open throughout December, January and February, so you don’t need to wait for classes to resume to look after your wellbeing.

The only time we’ll be closed is during the University shutdown period from 25 December to 4 January, with services resuming as normal from 5 January onwards. During the shutdown, the University Crisis Line will remain available on 1300 146 307 or by texting 0488 884 100.

Our range of Wellbeing Services includes:

  • Counselling
  • Student Wellbeing Connect (Case Management Support)
  • Men’s Health and Wellbeing
  • Multifaith Support
  • Financial Counselling
  • Legal Support
  • Wellbeing Mentors

Services are available in person on campus and online. If you’re not sure what kind of support you need, our centralised wellbeing intake team is available for a confidential chat and can talk through supportive options with you.
