Bendigo / Free lecture to explain effect of exercise on the human heart

The Worner Research Lecture series is all about the promoting research carried out at La Trobe’s Bendigo Campus.

The next installment in the series will be presented next week by Professor Michael Kingsley, Director of Research at the Bendigo Campus’ Rural Health School.

His lecture, entitled Exercise, the perfect medicament: what is the prescription and how can we administer it?, will draw on new research into the effects of exercise training on the function of the human heart.

The lecture will take place in the Circular Lecture Theatre (CLT) at the Bendigo Campus on Thursday 17 October from 5.45pm.

The event is free for anyone to attend.
