Audiology

How we help

Our Audiology service focuses on the assessment, management and prevention of hearing and balance difficulties, supporting people to communicate, engage and participate fully in everyday life. The service is designed to support individuals across the lifespan and aligns with the La Trobe Health Clinic’s commitment to accessible, high-quality, evidence-based care.

The Audiology service is delivered by students under the close supervision of experienced, fully qualified Audiologists, ensuring safe, professional and client-centred care while supporting high-quality student learning.

In 2026, the Audiology Clinic is offering screening appointments and diagnostic hearing tests for both children and adults.

The following services will be offered FREE for 2026:

  • Hearing assessments: Adults and children 8 months and above.
  • Preschool hearing screening clinic for children aged 4 -5 years of age.
