La Trobe has updated its Student Communications Policy to improve how we communicate with students.
The revised policy introduces clearer standards to help ensure University communications to current students are timely, accessible, relevant and easy to understand.
The changes were informed by student feedback. Students told us they wanted communications that were clearer, better timed, more inclusive and easier to act on. The updated policy responds directly to that feedback.
Remember to use your La Trobe email
To help protect your personal information and keep communications secure, the policy now requires students to use their La Trobe email account for all official correspondence with the University.
Using your student email helps verify your identity, reduces the risk of phishing and fraud, and ensures you receive important updates about your studies, enrolment and student services.
