La Trobe has revised our Student Organisations Policy (previously known as Recognition of Student Organisations Policy) to provide clearer information about how student-led organisations and clubs are recognised, affiliated and supported by the University.
The Policy is supported by two procedures covering:
- the recognition of student-led organisations
- the establishment, affiliation and operation of Student Clubs and Sporting Clubs.
The new framework also provides clearer information about governance, responsibilities, funding, events, safety and compliance.
The approved policy suite is effective immediately and is available through the Policy Library.
