Changes to CareerHub – everything you need to know

We’ve redesigned CareerHub, making your experience smoother.

Whether you’re just starting your Career Ready Advantage (CRA) journey or well on your way to earning the Award, the updated platform is designed to make it easier for you to get there.

Summary of what’s new

  • New look and feel – a redesigned homepage featuring updated content and layout
  • Visual progress dials – see at a glance how close you are to completing each level of the CRA Award
  • Streamlined CRA Award workflow – finding, completing and submitting activities for verification is now more intuitive than ever
  • Improved usability – a cleaner interface means less time navigating and more time building your future.

Why this is important

Employers consistently say that graduates who take charge of their career development stand out – and that’s exactly what the CRA Award helps you do. With the latest improvements to CareerHub, it’s now easier than ever to track your progress and submit your experiences, making the journey to achieve the Award more accessible and rewarding.

New changes

CRA Award Workflow redesigned

  • Forms replaced with Activities and Events
You’ll now participate in Activities or Events, which you can convert into Experiences that count toward your CRA Award.
  • “Add an Experience”
Use the simplified form to submit your experiences. If you’ve done something self-sourced or not listed, just choose New Entry to add it.
  • Where to find previous Award submissions
If you’ve already started the CRA Award, don’t worry – your previous submissions will still be visible in read-only format. From now on, you’ll use the new workflow.

Dashboard enhancements

The CRA Award dashboard has been updated to help you track your progress more easily:

  • Visual progress dials show how far you’ve come at each Award level
  • Quick links to add new experiences or view your submitted ones
  • A new workflow tool lets you jump directly to sections like Silver > Practical Experience
  • A new “My Experiences” section shows:
    • Verification status
    • Skills ratings
    • Experience details
    • Option to “Claim Skills” for each experience

Activities, events and saved Items

Here’s how the new categories work:

  • Activities I participated in – logged when you click “How to get involved”
  • Events I attended – can be claimed as experiences (if they meet the CRA criteria)
  • Saved items – any saved activity, event, or resource
  • New entry – use this to submit your own experiences if it’s not listed in CareerHub

 CRA Award progression rules

  • You must complete all Silver level requirements before unlocking Gold
  • Complete Gold before accessing Platinum
  • Practical Experience limits are now clearly stated in the workflow

Endorsements and certificates

Visual badges help you identify which activities contribute to:

  • Career Portfolio (CP)
  • CRA Award (CRA)
  • Professional Learning (PL)
  • Practical Experience (PE)

You can now download your own CRA Award certificates for Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels directly from the dashboard.
