Tuesday 11 November, 11am to 12pm – Assessment Writing Skills
Understand what is expected in academic writing at university, including: academic language, tone, structure, paragraphs, using sources and referencing. And know where to get support for these areas. Register here.

Wednesday 12 November, 2pm to 3pm – Using Library Databases and Google Scholar
Boost your study success by exploring strategies to find the right resources for your assessments and developing your search skills in Library databases and Google Scholar. Register here.

Thursday 13 November, 10.30am to 12pm – Advanced Database Search Skills for Health
In this advanced database searching session, you will learn how to systematically search Medline as well as translate your search across other databases. Register here.

Monday 17 November, 2pm to 3pm – Write that Assignment: Reports
This workshop focuses on how to write reports, with tips on structure, style and use of evidence. It will detail what should be included in each section and also cover common errors. Register here.

Tuesday 18 November, 11am to 12pm – Write that Assignment: Essays
This workshop focuses on how to tackle essays with tips on structure, writing good paragraphs, using evidence, and writing great introductions and conclusions. Register here.

Wednesday 19 November, 11am to 12pm – Learn How to Reference
Learn how and when you need to acknowledge the information you are using in your assessments using the Academic Referencing Tool (ART). Register here.

Thursday 20 November, 11am to 12pm – Using Evidence in your Writing
This workshop will teach you how to incorporate sources into your writing that support your academic arguments and help you avoid plagiarism. Register here.

Friday 21 November, 3pm to 4.30pm – Manage your References with EndNote
Learn how to use EndNote for reference management. Create a library, add and modify references and use EndNote within Microsoft Word. Attendees are advised to have prior knowledge of referencing. Register here.
