At La Trobe, we want you to feel safe, valued and supported. Finding Pride is a peer-supported group program open to all our LGBTIQA+ students.
By joining a Finding Pride group, you will have the chance to connect with a small group of fellow LGBTIQA+ students to go on a shared journey over seven weekly sessions. Facilitators will guide you through a structured program that provides opportunities to reflect, share experiences, and explore ways of managing the extra challenges LGBTIQA+ people face due to discrimination and stigma.
The group runs multiple times throughout the academic year (February to November) and can be online or face-to-face at the Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus. For more information about what to expect, confidentiality and our facilitators, visit our website.
