La Trobe students can complete a placement via an Industry Placement Elective Subject. Completing an industry placement as part of your degree will assist you to develop professional networks, increasing your potential to gain employment after graduation.

The Industry Venture Challenge
The Industry Venture Challenge is a unique 12 week program designed to boost your self-confidence, connections and ‘in demand’ industry skills to help you become work ready. The program is inclusive of a 100-hour placement with a start up organisation (online across 6 weeks), an induction day, and a day to pitch your amazing ideas to clients and fellow students.
You’ll connect with like-minded students, develop your problem solving and creative thinking skills, gain industry connections, learn how to pitch and present, win prizes and most importantly… have fun!
To be eligible students will need to enrol in Industry Placement subject LTU3IND and therefore will need to have completed 120 credit points and have availability to complete a 15 credit point elective subject.
