Be prepared for changes to Car Park 1 at our Melbourne (Bundoora) campus as official construction works begin to construct Victoria’s largest urban solar farm.
Starting from mid to late March, a significant portion of Car Park 1 along the Kingsbury Drive boundary will be affected. Approximately 50 car parking spaces will be closed during this initial phase.
As construction progresses, the impact on parking spaces will lessen. From April to July, the number of closed spaces will reduce to 15.
In late April, additional construction activities will result in reduced speed limits and traffic management along Kingsbury Drive. Boring works under the road will require precautions to ensure the safety of both workers and commuters.
As construction progresses, we will endeavor to keep disruptions to a minimum and provide updates on any further developments. This project represents a significant step towards reducing our carbon footprint.
