Alumni profile
Looking forward to putting her skills and experience to work in the next stage of La Trobe’s development within the Future Ready strategy.
Gail was elected as Secretary of the Mildura Alumni Chapter in May 2014.
At the age of 18, Gail commenced work at the Bendigo Institute of Technology (BIT), after successfully completing a Commercial Certificate there. She worked for ten years at the BIT, which would later be known as Bendigo College of Advanced Education (BCAE), before she took a ten-year break to raise her children to school age.
Gail had a number of casual positions during her career break, including a stint as Director of her own Administration Business in Bendigo.
When she returned to work, the BCAE had become La Trobe University - Bendigo, and she had roles within the Media and Communication unit, Accommodation unit and finally in the School of Business, where she worked for nine years.
Gail moved to Mildura in 2002 to take up the Campus Administration Officer role at LTU's Mildura Campus. She later graduated from both the Diploma of University Administration and Bachelor of Business (HRM), which she commenced whilst in Bendigo.
