SHE3FRW
2021
Credit points: 15
Subject outline
This subject has been developed to allow students from the College of Science, Health and Engineering (SHE) to extend their formal academic learning beyond the classroom. Students complete 100-140 hours of work placement combined with academic activities that require reflection on self-efficacy, skill application and skill development. Placements are expected to be self-sourced by students. This subject provides students with opportunities to creatively apply and adapt their skills to a real-world environment and network with employers. It brings together the expertise of industry partners and La Trobe University staff for the benefit of students' professional development.
