In this subject, you will learn about basic epidemiological concepts, nutrition-related health and disease patterns, trends, and associated risk factors. You will also explore the public health nutrition aspects of obesity, physical inactivity, and eating disorders. In addition, nutrition-related inequalities in health, political and ethical issues in public health nutrition, sociocultural understandings of food and eating, and environmental influences on nutrition will be covered.
