Subject outline
This subject aims to enable high-achieving students to further knowledge of Japan through the reading of primary texts in Japanese. Students are expected to read academic texts and be able to engage in writing essays and participate in discussions related to this thesis topic. Students will also further develop reading, writing, aural, oral and socio-cultural competence through audio-vidual materials and selections from newspapers, novels, essays and short stories. Students will work towards attaining the competence Level closer to N2 in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLTP ).
