Your 2026 Guide to Sport at La Trobe

Whether you’re keen to compete, train, play socially or simply try something new, La Trobe Sport offers a wide range of sport and active recreation opportunities across our Melbourne (Bundoora) and Bendigo campuses.

Students can explore everything from world‑class facilities and social competitions to elite pathways and community events. The best place to start is the Melbourne Campus Orientation – Welcome Festival on Wednesday 25 February, held at La Trobe Sports Park Stadium from 11.00am to 2.00pm. Visit the La Trobe Sport stall to meet the team, learn about sporting clubs and secure your on‑campus gym membership. Check your Orientation Planner for full details.

Below are six ways to get involved with sport and active recreation at La Trobe this year.
