We’ve got some important updates to share about your campus experience.
What’s happening?
Our IT team has been working hard to upgrade the campus network. These upgrades are all about:
- Boosting internet speed and performance ⚡
- Keeping your connection safe and secure 🔐
During the upgrade work, there will be temporary network outages in some buildings and some buildings will be closed.
The impact on you:
- The upgrade work will be outside of the Final Assessment period, meaning no buildings will be closed during this time.
- If you are on campus and a building is impacted, consider moving to another building on campus with working Wi-Fi or;
- You can access the La Trobe network remotely.
Below is the campuses upgrade schedule and impact on you:

After the recent network upgrades, you might need to forget and reconnect to the eduroam Wi-Fi network.
Using a MacBook or Google Pixel?
If you have a MacBook or a Google Pixel, you may experience issues. Contact the IT Student support team for assistance.
