Got an idea to improve student life? Apply for a 2026 Student Experience Grant!
The Student Experience Grants are back for 2026 and they’re open to all currently enrolled students across every campus and year level. Applications open on 1 November 2025 and close on 31 March 2026.
What are student experience grants?
These grants support student-led projects that enhance the student experience at La Trobe. You can apply as an individual, part of a group or on behalf of a club or society. Whether it’s a creative event, a practical resource or a digital innovation, this grant gives you the funding and support to bring your idea to life. Projects must be co-designed with staff and aligned with SSAF-compliant activities.
Funding available
- Grants range from $500 to $5,000
- Up to 10 projects will be selected
- All projects must be completed and reported on by 1 December 2026
What makes a strong application?
Successful applications will:
- Address a genuine student need
- Deliver tangible benefits to a broad student audience
- Include a clear and achievable project plan
- Be inclusive and responsive to diverse student groups

- Successful applicants announced: 28 April 2026
