Standing against racism: what you can do

Over the weekend, you likely will have seen reports regarding anti-immigration protests across the country. At La Trobe, we stand firmly against racism of any kind, and we are proud of our diverse multi-cultural and multi-faith community. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our community.

What you can do

We encourage you to join the online launch of La Trobe’s new Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy on Monday 9 September. This strategy outlines our vision and actions to ensure equity and respect are embedded in everything we do.

2. Complete the Racism@Uni Survey

We also encourage all students to complete the Racism@Uni Survey, administered by the Australian Human Rights Commission.

If you haven’t yet completed it, please check your inbox for a reminder email with a confidential survey link. This confidential survey is a vital opportunity to share your experiences and help shape a more inclusive university sector.
