As the new semester starts, all students are reminded to keep safe both on and off-campus.
We’re used to online scams but it’s important to remember scammers can approach you in-person too. They may ask for your personal details, offer you work or offer ways to make money quickly.
Tips to keep safe
- Don’t give your private or personal information to people you don’t know
- Don’t meet or travel with strangers who make unusual offers
