Safety and inclusion on campus

Everyone has a right to be safe and feel welcome on campus, and the safety of our students, staff and community is our priority. All students and staff are entitled to an inclusive learning and teaching experience.

Your right to gather and speak freely

It is important that our students, staff and community can freely share views, ideas and opinions, free from unacceptable behaviour, unlawful discrimination, harassment, bullying and intimidation.

These rights are protected by the law and by our University policies including the Model Code for the Protection of Freedom of Speech and Academic Freedom Policy, the Code of Conduct, the Student Charter and the Student Behaviours Policy
