New to Melbourne? Join La Trobe student leaders for a guided city tour, where you can meet new students, enjoy lunch and visit Melbourne Skydeck.
Welcome to La Trobe and welcome to Melbourne!
The Explore Melbourne City Tour is for commencing international students joining La Trobe in Semester 2, 2026. It’s a relaxed way to explore the city, meet other new students and get more familiar with your new home.
The tour starts at La Trobe’s City Campus, 360 Collins Street. You’ll be guided by La Trobe student leaders who will take you through some of Melbourne’s well-known city locations before finishing at Melbourne Skydeck.
Lunch is included. When you book, you’ll be able to choose your meal option, including Halal and vegetarian options.
The tour officially runs for three hours and ends at Melbourne Skydeck. You can stay longer at Skydeck after the tour or return with the group to the City Campus.

This is a walking tour, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
Places are limited and bookings are required.

The tour ends at Melbourne Skydeck. You can stay longer after the tour or return with the group to the City Campus.
