The Department of Transport and Planning is helping food delivery riders understand the Victorian road rules and how to ride safely.
No matter what type of bike you are using (bicycle, electric bike, motor scooter or motorbike), your safety is important – as well as those you share the road with.
Know the road rules before you ride
- Ride on the road, not the footpath
- Don’t scroll on your mobile phone when riding
- Stop at red lights and stop signs
- Check your e-bike is legal before renting or buying.
