La Trobe University and Gateway Health are teaming up for an exciting Triage Innovation Sprint, and we’re looking for clever, creative students to help shape the future of community healthcare.
This is your chance to collaborate with a real community health organisation, tackle real challenges and pitch real solutions.
About the Sprint
Gateway Health is a not‑for‑profit community health service supporting individuals, families and communities across Northeast Victoria and Southern NSW. They provide holistic, integrated care across sectors like justice, education and housing, with the aim of creating healthier and more equitable communities.
Recent La Trobe student research uncovered some key challenges in Gateway Health’s client intake processes. Issues like fragmented data sources and complex funding requirements create friction for both clients and staff.
Now, Gateway Health wants your fresh perspective to help streamline these journeys and improve the experience for people who rely on their services.
During the sprint, you’ll work in multidisciplinary teams to ideate, prototype and pitch innovative solutions that could make meaningful changes – all in two action‑packed days!
Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out: register now!
Why participate?
- Collaborate with diverse experts to tackle real-world healthcare challenges.
- Build practical prototypes using human-centered design, inspired by student insights.
