Financial Counsellor or Financial Advisor?

“Where is the best place to invest my money?”

“Are shares a good option?”

“What about crypto?”

If you want to be savvier with your money and make it work best for you, then Financial Counselling may be for you, just not in the way you may think…

Financial Counselling and Financial Advice are often mistaken as the same thing, when in fact they are very different.

What’s the difference?

Yes, the idea to have your money work best for you is the goal when it comes to financial management in general, but the main differences between these two are;

  1. Financial advice is for investment options when you have money such as share options etc, and
  2. Financial counselling is about budgeting, debt management, and understanding options regarding managing your money and debts, amongst other things.
