Act on Procrastination: Online Group Program

Do you find yourself:
- Staring at your screen, unsure where to start?
- Scrolling through social media, watching videos, cleaning the house or completing random tasks instead of tackling assignments or other important tasks?
- Feeling overwhelmed by tasks and unsure how to proceed?
You’re not alone. Procrastination is a common challenge among students. The ACT on Procrastination program, offered by La Trobe’s Counselling team, is designed to help you overcome these hurdles – giving you practical tools to shift your mindset and take action.
What you will gain:
In this three-session online program, you will:
- Understand your personal procrastination patterns
. - Learn strategies to boost motivation and take committed action
- Use strategies to change unhelpful behaviours
. - Have the chance to connect with other students who get it—you’re not in this alone
.
Session dates:
You attend all three sessions:
- Tuesday 21 April
- Tuesday 28 April
- Tuesday 5 May
Time: 2pm–3:30pm
Location: Online via Zoom (link provided upon registration)
This is a small group program. To help create a supportive space, we ask that you:
- Have your camera on (as much as you’re able to)
- Arrive on time to each session
