It’s time to bring out the popcorn! Australia’s biggest celebration of films from India and the Indian subcontinent is back in Melbourne for the 16th straight year.
The 2025 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will present over 75 films in 31 languages — spanning powerful dramas, star-studded blockbusters, and bold new voices from across India’s cinematic landscape. As part of its line-up, the festival will also showcase a special package of queer cinema and short films that span genres, languages and unique perspectives.

IFFM 2025 will honour the work and movies of Bollywood megastar and Academy Award nominee Aamir Khan who will be attending, along with up to 20 high-profile Indian actors, directors, celebrities, and entertainers — making this a truly unforgettable experience.
